WASTE MANAGEMENT

Lone Star operates a municipal, non-hazardous solid waste landfill under Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Permit No. 1898. The opening of this landfill in 1994 represented a significant step forward in responsible, long-term solid waste management. The landfill utilizes the best available technology and is constructed in full compliance with Subtitle D regulations.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITIES

There are seven Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plants at Lone Star. Five are pinkwater treatment plants, one is for heavy metals removal, and another is for lead removal.

Transportation within the plant includes:

UTILITIES

Lone Star has an extensive utility distribution system and provides utilities at a competitive price. Many miles of pipe and cable traverse the property to provide utilities including:

GAS: 14 MILES

AIR: 15 MILES
